Tarja Soile Susanna Turunen Cabuli (AFI: 'tɑ.ɾjɑ...'tu.ɾu.nen) (Kitee, 17 de Agosto de 1977) es una cantante, compositora y pianista finlandesa, famosa por su participación como vocalista del conjunto de metal sinfónico Nightwish, que fundó con sus compañeros Tuomas Holopainen y Emppu Vuorinen en 1996. En el 2005 Tarja fue expulsada de la banda por diferencias con el resto de sus miembros y fue reemplazada posteriormente, en 2007, por la sueca Anette Olzon.

Tarja es una de las cantantes más populares de su género en la mayor parte de Europa. Desde 1996 ha lanzado ocho álbumes de estudio (seis con Nightwish y dos como solista), gozando de gran popularidad en Finlandia, donde ha realizado numerosas apariciones en TV. Gracias a su carrera solista, Tarja ha sido nominada en dos ocasiones a los Emma Awards (equivalentes finlandeses al Grammy) en 2006 y 2007, y recientemente fue prenominada a un Grammy 2009 por su colaboración con el artista Schiller.
